Most perfume fragrances are formulated with synthetics, chemicals and fillers. Botanical perfume only sources fragrance from natural materials including flowers, bark, sap, leaves and roots. All ingredients are sourced heart-forward. We treasure sustainable practices for humans and nature.

Aromatherapy vs Natural Perfumery

At Botanical Perfumería, we do a little of both :). Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to inspire healing. Natural perfumery formulates with essential oils, but also concretes & CO2s, which are additional ways of extracting botanical fragrances. Briana has studied both methodologies and uses them with reverence.

Safety

Essential oils are powerful and are used as medicine. We use the highest, therapeutic grade oils and formulate them for safety and effectivity. Please read the description for each product to double check that it is safe for you and your lifestyle.

Lingering Scent

Natural perfumes do not contain the chemicals that cling to skin and clothes for 24+ hours. You can expect your scent to last 1-6 hours. Feel free to apply again and again and again- it is pure, luxurious goodness.

Scent Evolution

Expect your scent to evolve with your body chemistry. It is organic, active botanical material that interacts with you. For fun, smell it immediately, then in 5 minutes, then in 15. The change is beautiful.

Expiration

For our oil based perfumes we use jojoba oil, which is actually a wax and most similar to your skin's natural oil. Of all the bases, jojoba has the longest lasting shelf life, 5 years. Our alcohol based perfumes will last longer.
